INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION COMES TO ROSS
Michigan Ross has been selected to partner on the Aspen Institute’s 2019 Business & Society International MBA Case Competition. This preeminent program differs from other MBA case study competitions in that its focus is explicitly on environmental, social, and ethical decisions currently being faced by a real business. The top five teams worldwide will be flown to NYC to present in front of corporate, academic and other friends of the Aspen Institute and to compete for a share of over $30,000 in scholarship funds.
This spring more than 1,000 students from 25 business schools will tackle a brand new case study, authored by the Yale School of Management, requiring innovative thinking at the intersection of corporate profitability and positive social and environmental impacts. As a student participant, you will step into a real-life, time-sensitive scenario demanding integrative decision-making — not unlike the challenges that you and your teammates will face as the next generation of business leadership.
U-M students are welcome to find a team and register for the competition online. Team Registrations are due by noon EST on March 25.
The Aspen Institute’s Case Competition has many sponsors and offers a meaningful opportunity for reflection on the significant and positive influence that a well-managed business can have on society.
Complete information on the competition can be found on the Aspen Business & Society International MBA Case Competition Website.
