At Ross:

    • Multidisciplinary Action Projects (MAP) – Teams of students tackle pressing business challenges for sponsor organizations – major corporations, startups, and nonprofits all over the world. At the heart of MAP is a mutually beneficial collaboration between students, faculty, and sponsor organizations.
    • Student Club Projects:
      • Detroit Revitalization & Business Initiative – Detroit R&B’s Impact Projects provide teams of students at the Ross School of Business with the unique opportunity to work with a Detroit non-profit for a semester-long consulting project to solve real business challenges.
      • Community Consulting Club – provides pro bono consulting services to Ann Arbor nonprofits with a focus on marketing, strategy, operations or financial analysis. 
      • Browse all Ross clubs – Many Ross clubs engage in consulting work with nonprofit organizations in the area.
    • Ross Accounting Outreach – In collaboration with DNEP,  Business+Impact has launched an initiative to provide Detroit entrepreneurs with free accounting services that can help them successfully launch and grow their businesses.
    • Job or internship opportunities:
      • Ross Job Board – Michigan Ross students are energetic, bright, and ready to do amazing work for your organization. Send your job or internship opportunities to RossCDO@umich.edu to get them in front of the Ross community
      • Zell Lurie Institute’s Marcel Gani internship program – If you are a startup nonprofit and have some funding for an intern, you can receive matching funds through ZLI’s Marcel Gani program. These interns can be an excellent resource for leading essential projects to help your organization reach the next stage in your business development
    • Executive Education programs – Ross Exec Ed takes time to get to know you and your organization, and connects you with world-class thought leaders that can guide you in curating and executing on successful business strategies. 
    • Live stream Center for Positive Organizations events – Learn inspiring and practical research-based strategies for building organizations that are high performing and bring out the best in its people.
