2016 Michigan Business Challenge: Round 2
January 22, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Competing teams in Round 2 of the campus-wide Michigan Business Challenge, including the Social Impact Track, give a seven-minute presentation that describes their company’s solution to a pressing market need or pain, an estimation of the market size, and their financial assumptions. This is followed by ten minutes of questions from the judges. Four teams will be chosen to compete in the Social Impact Track Finals, and 8-10 teams will advance to the MBC Semi-Finals. Each advancing team will receive $300.
The Social Impact Track is offered by the Center for Social Impact in partnership with the Zell Lurie Institute of Entrepreneurship and the Frederick A. and Barbara M. Erb Institute. This $15,000 prize is awarded to the most compelling business plan that delivers social impact.
