Part of MBA funds for summer internships are donations made by members of the prior MBA class through the student-led Give-A-Day Fund. Members of the MBA class donate a day of their regular salary in order to support those who have pursued social impact internships.

ZLI Internships
The internship program at the Zell Lurie Institute helps startup companies and venture capital firms hire University of Michigan students for a 12-week hands-on work experience. This program gives students the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills while accelerating the advancement of the host company or their own venture.
Erb Internship Funding
The Erb Institute also offers funding support for students who pursue internships with NGOs, governmental organizations, start-ups and social enterprises. Regardless of your timeline, you’ll complete two internships during your time at the University of Michigan.
Student Experience
“My learning this summer, particularly in the field of public health, was significant, thanks to a truly challenging and rewarding internship.”
