Detroit Engagement

U-M’s engagement with Detroit has extended over two centuries, and the Michigan Ross commitment to Detroit has continued for over 30 years, a mission that inextricably links the campus with this city of makers.

Every summer, over 30 students from Ross and the Ford School of Public Policy along with undergraduate business minors deliver impact at organizations locally and around the globe. These roles may be in the public or nonprofit sectors or at social ventures.
