Annual Advocacy Symposium w/ Deepa Iyer, author of Social Change Now: A Guide for Reflection and Connection

We invite you to join us for a day of activities designed to inspire potential and highlight the work of U-M students, staff, and community advocates. Participate in workshops focused on Empowered Communication, Mindful Self-Compassion and Self-Advocacy, Storytelling for Social Change, Supporting Non-traditional Students, and more.

The symposium will culminate with a keynote lecture by Deepa Iyer, author of Social Change Now: A Guide for Reflection and Connection, who will provide a roadmap for how we can engage in effective and sustainable social change efforts as individuals and organizations during times of crisis and beyond.

Breakfast and check-in begin at 8:00 am, and the event begins at 9:00 am.
