Careers

Impact career resources are available at Michigan Ross, which also has an engaged alumni base, great services and a flexible curriculum. Creating leaders who make a positive difference in the world is our core mission at Ross. We have been attracting students interested in social impact for year. Our centers and institutes, our philosophy, and active faculty make Ross the perfect place to prepare for a career with impact.  You can also get the tools to give you a resume that gets noticed.

If you go into an impact career after grad school, what kind of support can you expect as a Ross alum?  Ross’ Impact Advantage Program can provide you with up to $37,500 in educational loan repayment support if you’re a full-time MBA graduate who has pursued a career in nonprofit or public sector organizations.

U-M Resources

Career Services

The University Career Center guides students through the entire job search process with career coaching, career tracks, fairs and UCAN alumni coaching.

U-M Ross School of Business Career Development Office coordinates on-campus recruiting and also provides information on job postings and other career resources for business school students. Dimitri Wohns is the CDO MBA Adjunct Coach for Careers with Impact career coaching. He is a Ross alum (MBA ’17), and he spent 6+ years coaching MBAs pursuing Careers with Impact and managing the Impact peer coaches. While pursuing his MBA at Ross, he was Co-President of Net Impact @ Ross. Leslie Lynn, Director of Career Coaching, oversees the Impact Peer Coaches, and related offerings.

Ford School of Public Policy’s Career Services assists its students in exploring career options, internship opportunities, and developing successful job search strategies.

School of Social Work’s Career Services provides its students with information on careers, certification and licensing information, fellowships, and internships.

Kresge Library at the Ross School of Business has compiled a list of resources for nonprofit career information.
