Fast-A-Thon Dinner: An Interfaith Engagement Opportunity
Open to: All UM Students
Michigan Interfaith in Action, are collaborating with the BBA DEI Committee and Student Life to host an Interfaith Fast-A-Thon to commemorate the tradition of fasting in various faiths (Ramadan in Islam, Lent in Christianity, Yom Kippur in Judaism, etc.) and raise money to alleviate hunger faced by communities around the world. To participate in the Fast-A-Thon, participants are challenged to fast for one day, March 24th, donate to our Share the Meal challenge, and join us for a celebratory dinner to break fast on the 24th.
This event is open to all UM students and faculty of any religious/non-religious affiliation. The event will include interfaith dialogue and a Talk Better Together activity and is a great way to form connections with a diverse group of people.
