Racism and Emotion Research Project
What is the emotional toll on African Americans living in a racist society?
The University of Michigan Detroit Center is partnering with the Ross School of Business to host an afternoon for African Americans 18+ to anonymously contribute their perspective through a one hour survey. It will assess encounters with racism, understanding of historical events, background and beliefs, and emotional well-being. Open discussion with a guest speaker will follow.
Participants will receive a $25 gift card and refreshments, and the opportunity to engage in a community led dialogue.
