Sprinkle Some AI on It
The ways we interact with services and each other are being fundamentally reshaped. From the proliferation of AI-powered chatbots to the increasing reliance on digital platforms for everyday tasks, technology is disintermediating real-world experiences and changing the nature of human connections.
In this lunchtime talk, Ron Bronson will talk about the ways designers contribute to these perils, and why it’s crucial to question these assumptions and consider the unintended consequences of design decisions. He will explore how service design and technology are disrupting civic life, arguing that the increasing reliance on digital intermediaries between services will impact how we live, work, and play.
Lunch will be provided.
