Michigan Ross Board Builders is an exclusive new educational program for alumni. It is designed to equip you with the skills, connections, and credentials to confidently serve on nonprofit boards. Engage in three learning sessions led by Dr. Janet Weiss, Mary C. Bromage Collegiate Professor Emerita of Business and Public Policy, and network with peers and impact organizations seeking passionate board members. Gain practical education while earning a nonprofit governance endorsement and making meaningful connections. Join us to amplify your ability to create lasting impact in the nonprofit sector!
How to Apply
The inaugural cohort concluded in May 2026 and will run again in spring 2027. Join the waitlist here.
- Must be a Ross alum (any year, any program). Future cohorts may include other U-M alumni.
- Must be able to attend all sessions in person at Ross in Ann Arbor. Details for spring 2027 sessions to come. Future cohorts may include virtual participation.
- You do NOT need to have nonprofit board experience or a current board role.
