MECC Consulting Group
MECC Consulting Group is a premier, pro-bono student consulting organization at the University of Michigan. Our organization provides highly analytical, data-driven, and business-minded students the opportunity to engage in hands-on projects with local companies. With nearly 50 members in diverse fields, MECC is dedicated to positively impacting our clients through semester-long projects, exposing our members to prospective employers through networking events, and professionally developing our members through a series of professional development seminars.
Smart Cities Club
The Smart Cities Club at the University of Michigan was launched in 2015 to provide students across all disciplines and backgrounds with an outlet to learn about the fast-growing ‘smart cities’ sector.
Spark Impact Consulting
Spark is a social impact initiative that offers free consulting services to small businesses on a national scale. We place an emphasis on working with minority businesses as well as non-profits. Asia Business Conference
The Asia Business Conference (ABC) is the longest student-run conference in North America focused on Asia business. For 30 years, the landmark conference has brought leaders of multinational companies and organizations to the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business to discuss issues facing the Asian markets.
Design + Business
The mission of D+B is to provide a multidisciplinary community for graduate students interested in using design methodologies to lead organizations and facilitate innovation.
Detroit Initiative at Ross
Discover. Engage. Commit. The Revitalization & Business Initiative brings together University of Michigan graduate students to discover the city of Detroit, engage with the Detroit community, and commit to promoting the resurgence of this great American city.
Impact Investing Group
The Impact Investing Group is a student club dedicated to raising awareness and building interest in the impact investing field. Impact investing is investing with the intention of generating social or environmental impact alongside of a financial return. Out for Business
Out for Business (OFB) at Ross is the official lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ+) student association at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. We seek to build a strong, diverse community of LGBTQ+ and ally students at Ross where all are welcomed, celebrated, and valued. We aim to provide a comprehensive set of professional development resources to support the career interests of OFB members. We work to raise awareness among Ross faculty, staff, and students of the issues, experiences, and intersectional identities among LGBTQ+ individuals in the workplace and in society.

Southeast Asia Business Association
The SABA seeks to promote a deeper understanding of Southeast Asia business culture and practices within the Ross Business School (hereafter, “Ross”) community with the ultimate goal of assisting in the creation of a more diverse and culturally aware student body. Secondly, SABA will serve as a social and networking support group for Southeast Asia students at Ross. Thirdly, the SABA will serve as Ross’ window to prominent Southeast Asian alumni for mentoring, job and internship opportunities and connecting alumni to the current Southeast Asia student body. Finally, the SABA will serve as a channel of communication for prospective Southeast Asia students and admitted Southeast Asia students by providing orientation and guidance counseling to facilitate the transition into the Ross community.
