2026 Autumn Faculty Affiliate Convening: Locked In, Locked Out: How Systems Shape Geography, Well-Being, and Equity
Open to U-M Community.
Join the U-M Center for Equitable Family & Community Well-being for our virtual Fall Faculty Affiliate Convening. This recurring gathering serves as a collaborative space for faculty affiliates, research scientists, and invited guests across the University of Michigan School of Social Work (SSW) community and beyond to connect, share emerging scholarship, and exchange feedback.
Our October session will feature brief, 20-minute featured research presentations from Dr. Fu and Dr. Reed-Jones highlighting an impactful project in the field, followed by a dedicated 5–7 minute open Q&A session. Designed as a supportive academic ecosystem, this convening highlights both completed research and early-stage “Works-in-Progress” to spark dialogue, encourage cross-disciplinary partnerships, and workshop methodologies.
