Critical Justice Fund Lecture | Critical Justice for Social Work Practice: What is it and how do we implement it?
Open to Everyone
Thanks to a generous gift from Beth Glover Reed, Associate Professor Emerita of Social Work, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the Critical Justice Fund on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 12 – 3:30 p.m. EST at the School of Social Work. Goals of the fund are to promote pro [critical] justice practice and stronger engagement with the larger community towards these goals. The event will provide examples and principles of critical justice implementation at many levels/types of practice. We will offer free CEs to in-person attendees and a Zoom option for anyone who wishes to listen online. Anyone who has a passion for centering critical (intersectional) justice in their work is welcome to attend. More information on the lecture to come. CE is pending.
Lunch will be served beginning at 12 p.m. Welcome remarks will begin promptly at 12:30. The lecture will begin at 1 p.m. This will be a 2 hour lecture.
